ICT-AGRI office location

ICT-AGRI is a cross-thematic ERA-NET spanning three FP7 themes: Agriculture and food supply; Environment and climate; and Information and Communication Technology.
The overall goal of ICT-AGRI is to strengthen the European Research Area and develop a common European research agenda concerning ICT and robotics in agriculture.

ICT-AGRI has 18 partners and 14 observers from 21 countries. It was initiated on 1 May 2009 and runs until 31 July 2013.

Strategic Research Agenda
ICT-AGRI's Strategic Research Agenda was released on 12-12-2012 in Brussels. The Strategic Research Agenda is a significant contribution to European as well as national Research and Innovation within ICT and robotics in agriculture, and it is a major achievement of the ERA-NET.

The ICT-AGRI Meta Knowledge Base is a resource for finding people and know-how among 700+ users, 200+ organisations
and 170+ knowledge postings related to ICT and automation in agriculture.
Matchmaking and Consortium Building
A Matchmaking and Consortium Building tool is available in the ICT-AGRI Meta Knowledge Base as ICT-AGRI iPROJECTS. You can use this tool to suggest a project and invite partners, or you can join a project suggested by someone else.

VERA Verification of environmental technologies for agricultural production.
The federal environmental and agricultural authorities in Denmark, the Netherlands and Germany have since 2008 been cooperating in the VERA organisation concerning common procedures for verification of environmental technologies for agricultural production. Read more about VERA
